Our Story:
Social Behavior Solutions is a locally owned and operated ABA company that seeks to provide the highest quality of ABA services to children and families impacted by autism and other developmental disabilities.
It is our mission to ensure that all children have access to quality care and treatment in Kern County. Social Behavior Solutions was created in response to a need that was seen in Kern County in which many children faced with Autism Spectrum Disorder do not have access to ABA services or are on extended wait lists to receive services.

Social Behavior Solutions was created to give families the services they deserve. At SBS we set ourselves apart and hold our employees to a higher standard of education, conduct, and care. All of our employees undergo extensive training to become a Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) and receive regular training and supervision from a BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst). At Social Behavior Solutions we have a heavy focus on in person, BCBA supervision so you can be assured that your child is getting the best clinical recommendations from the professionals with the most experience.
Our Team
Suzanne Schwartz, MS, BCBA, PPS
Clinical Director / Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Suzanne Schwartz is the founder and clinical director at Social Behavior Solutions, LLC. She earned her Bachelor’s of Arts from the University of California Berkeley and pursued her general education teaching credential. She taught kindergarten through 12th grade for at-risk youth while she continued to earn her Master’s of Science in Special Education from California State University, Fullerton. She became a Board Certified Behavior Analyst in 2011.
She served in non-public schools, group homes, private agencies and public school districts to provide ABA services. She attended La Sierra University to earn her school psychologist credential in 2017. She is currently working on her dissertation for her Educational Doctorate in Educational Psychology from La Sierra University.
Her areas of expertise include: severe challenging behaviors, early intervention, social skills training, functional communication training, parent training, verbal behavior, staff training, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), and functional analyses. Suzanne has also taught as an adjunct professor in the graduate school of education and psychology at La Sierra University in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis.
Suzanne has dedicated over 20 years to helping children with special needs and their families. Her goal is to to increase the quality of life for disabled children by collaborating with parents and other professionals to encourage meaningful and functional behavior improvements. She is passionate about social justice and the rights of individuals with disabilities.
Lydia Provencio, B.A.
Assistant Supervisor
Lydia has worked with the special needs community for over 20 years. She has a bachelor’s degree in deaf and hard of hearing studies. She is bilingual in American Sign Language (ASL) and is passionate about advocating and supporting individuals with disabilities. She has served individuals with disabilities ages 1-25 years old. Lydia has treated individuals impacted with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (AHDH), Intellectual Disabilities (ID), Cerebral Palsy (CP), Speech and Language Impairment (SLI), Orthopedic Impairment (OI), Emotional Disturbance (ED), mental health with psychotic features, Downs Syndrome (DS), Fragile X Syndrome (FXS), Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD), amongst others. She is proficient and specializes in verbal behavior, Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC), social skills instruction and social groups, daily living skills and Behavior Skills Training (BST). She is currently working towards becoming a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and her master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis.
Kaylinn Lephart, MA, CCC
Speech Language Pathologist
Kaylinn is a licensed speech and language pathologist. She obtained her Masters of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology. She has experience in the medical and educational setting, serving children and adults of all ages. She assess and provides treatment, support and care for children and adults who have difficulties with communication (language, voice, articulation, fluency), with eating, drinking and swallowing. She is trained in assessing and teaching Augmentative or Alternate Communication (AAC). She works closely with the Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) to provide a comprehensive approach to social pragmatics and communication across all therapy sessions.
